Main character idea's

What about if the main character was from before the war, frozen in stasis or something like that?

Anyone got any ideas for a new main character.
 
I like it how about you start on the east coast, a super soldier, in lets say atlantic city new jersy in donald trumps building cryogenically frozen you wake up with no memory of your past. the first thing you see is another super soldier killing the last docter in the cryo room you cant do anything because you are still weak the other supsol beats the crap out of you and you wake up sore a week later and venture out the building in search of this asshole...:P

what does that first bit remind me of... errr... ah yes Sanitarium... where u loose ur memory... I think it should have some more of the confusion, loss of faith like in FO (u know like that bit at the end where he(she) got kicked out, that had quite an effect on me!)... u could have somthing like where ur a soldier (enclave?!) and u follow ur orders (kill what ever), then u start 2 c what things r really like... so u could change sides mid game (or closer 2 the start)...

How bout u start out by waking up on a medi-bed in some place, with no memory and u jus wander out and some shit happens 2 u!

You should buy Planescape: Torment, also by Black Isle. This is exactly what happens in that game. Except the medi-bed is a slab in a mortuary.

And SHADOWRUN for the SNES started out the same way, no memory, on a slab in the freezer, and suddenly everyone wants to kill you.
