Mapper back to desktop

Ok, i have got this huge problem right now.
i haven't used the mapper since 2,3 weeks, and now every time I launch it, it keep sending me back to the desktop, without quitting the game. Same thing if I try to restore it.
It seems to affect the two of my mappers for all the files that I use.

I have no idea what might cause it, i just remember using it to look at the dominion and last hope files, then getting back at my personal files, but it might also be caused by a Vista upgrade. otherwise, I don't know.

Does anyone have any Idea?

If you use a other Fallout 2 language version than US or UK, you need to change the "language" entry "eng" in the mapper.cfg to the one from your language (as example, ger for germany. If you are not sure, look in your fallout2.cfg, it must be the same.)

If this doesn't work, look also into the mapper.cfg and see if all paths to your Fallout 2 installation are correct.

If this doesn't work too, do you have any mods installed? If yes, and if they have lots of new towns in it, you maybe need to install the city limit patch for the mapper.

Well I restarted my computer, and now it seems to work fine again.
But you are right, it must be something about the city patch, I remember adding a lot of town lately.
I never thought I had to install it for the mapper too, but yes it is logical after all.
