Is there any strong reason for this change.
I realise that despite my early contributions which pushed up my post count, I am not a NMA champion, but I for one would prefer the two forums be kept apart.
It is only a simple matter of differentiation. Our RP is working like a cooperative novel but there is still a difference between fan fiction and RPing. It is not a particularly important difference but I hold to my opinion.
I was proud to be the first person to post on the fan fiction forum and I think it is important to uphold the seperation. I believe it is easier to take part in an RP (depending on how much work you do - I bow to Welsh's work ethic) than to write independent fictions and this is better recognised by giving fan fiction its own forum.

I have to agree with Reaper, even though I have little righ tof speaking here, I'm the newbie here, but I don't really see a reason for change, and this would probably work better...
Well we don't have to, but since the forums don't have that many threads we were discussing the idea.. and as you have seen we have merged some other forums...

I appreciate your consideration of our opinions but it is still your call. If you think it would benefit the whole forum in some way, then I do not mind, but otherwise I would prefer to see them kept apart for now - I like the fact that the two forums are not completely full and overwhelming, something that would change if they merged.
Also, as Lone Wanderers is the only RP running here at the moment, it works better for those of us participating in the RP because all the threads on the RP board are relavent to us - that is the selfish argument - it makes my life easier, but hey.
Again, thanks for consulting us, but remember that we are not too immature and won't go ape-shit if you change it anyway. We'll cope, we'd just prefer things stayed as they are now. It seems to be working out.

If you folks need to merge, then go for it. People on both share a common in interest in creative writing, so its cool that we see what people are working on.
I will defer to the others feelings on this (however, most of the regular posters are currently off on vacation somewhere, so you probably won't get a majority of the regulars here). So far two of the regulars (Reaper and Gunslinger) are against it and the regulare newbie, Sander, ain't keen either.

My oppinion most likely amounts to cammel droppings, but I don't see any reason to merge. I mean, the rp forum is a roleplaying forum where multiple people play out a roleplay, where as the fan fiction forum is about people that write by themselves, thus not really role play.
But hey, it's your decision.

I've never contributed to either forum, but I think that they'd be better off being segregated. They're really two different fields and it would probably kill off the Fan Fiction all together.
