Mib88 MegaMod - Cant exit toxic caves

I ventured to toxic caves and rescued smiley. But i cant exit,there's no exit grid at all. I have resolution patch but still i cant find it. I see like trees on the south and a piece of desert on the ned of a cave. Saving and reloading made smiley dissapear but didnt shown me the end of the cave. What is wrong?! How to exit?
I've read about going a little more farther. I tried every step of the desert but i cant scroll after some point. I tried scrolling with 640x480 and 1280x1024(my default). The lower res makes even see smaller part of the desert.
Please help!

make sure hires ini has map_edges set to megamod242(the folder)

Since this is the only thread I have found about this I'm just going to post here. I have attempted to use the method explained in this with no results, I am still unable to leave the Toxic Caves.
