mod/ map idea

howie

First time out of the vault
I was playing fallout 2 and I came up with an idea. The enclave navarro base with more enemies in it like a big fallout battle mabe add some death claws to the mix etc. The second idea is a formation mod so you can get your squad to be in line abreast etc formation i have no skill at all with modding but i could look into it and try and od it myself just want to know if anyone could help and what you all think of this idea. Next how about setting all the burst guns on continuous fire til you let the trigger go or til you have to reload the weapon along with giving the gauss rifle a burst mode

While a appreciate your passion, you need to learn something before any mod suggestions:
1) Use commas in your text. It really helps others understand your post;
2) Read current topics about FT modding. Some questions were already answered in there. Laziness isn't a reason.

On current topic

Ok, do that. Make a singleplayer mission. Build tiles and place entities to make this map resemble famous Navarro. What the question?

Definitely unreadable in general. But if you plan to change game mechanics, you probably won't succeed. Formation and methods of it's changing are hard-coded.

Next how about setting all the burst guns on continuous fire til you let the trigger go or til you have to reload the weapon...
Same as previous. You can make bursts to use more bullets, you can even cause weapons to release full burst, but you can't control it by "trigger". Amount of ammo used in any burst must be specified precisely in weapon file.

... along with giving the gauss rifle a burst mode
Same as Navarro - just do it. FT Tools are easy to use.

P.S.: To use FT Tools (which includes Entities and Level editors), make sure you installed 1.27 version of FT.
