Mod problems, installations and saved games

First time out of the vault
Ok i installed Merged UI Mod + Revelation Interface v0.2, and fallout descriptions mod
read the readme files and followed the instructions ... loaded the games and worked great ... BUT can't load my saved games, have to start over ... what can i do besides reinstall the game from scratch ... thanks.
