First time out of the vault
Sorry, that I'm new to the boards, but does any one know of any mods (or so much as a simple character editor) for the Mac version of Fallout 2?

Welcome to this board.
Its great to see, that I am not alone ;-)))

There is a mod here at nma especially for Mac-Users, so you can give iit a try!

Unluckily its not the actual version.....

There is also an editor: "The FO survival kit" which is a savegame editor for both FO1 and FO2.
Thats rhe only tool, that is available for Mac-Users - as far as I know!

All the rest has to be done on PC or (Virtual-PC!).

Not to be esp. dense... but can you do me a huge favor and point me in the direction of either.... I've been doing a net search for for the likes of either (mainly the Fallout Survival kit) and only come across a bunch of dead links...

Yes, you are right: the "FO survival Kit" seems no longer to be available.....(why?)

Lets hope, that Odin will put the files online soon.....
There should be 7 files from me (4 of them for Mac) - but there will be much more waiting in the pipeline I am sure....
So far. only my (old) FO2-Mod is online.....you cant miss it ;-)

If you need it urgently, I can send you the kit per mail.....

Odin is uploading every file one by one, and that takes a bit of time. Hopefully it won`t take much more time, and as long as i can tell that´s how it seems to be.
And welcome.
 
That`s good, but you can send them to us too since we can upload the files and give them publicity and allow the downloads, only they will show up on the new files section, and not the old you can see now,that now only requires a few buttons to be made public, wich will take a few days.

Good work anyway, and DAC has a Fallout on Mac fan, Dan Wood, he will be happy with those files, but he will absent from there for a few months.

But I HAD uploaded these files here a long time ago!
(it was during the time, when poor Odin was sick).

There were even 3 files more for the FOT section......

But till now, none of the new files (not only mine...) have appeared here, so I sent them to DAC .....

You surely may put my files online here, too.
It is only, they didnt appear yet, and I dont know, if they ever will.....

Strange enough, that my files got lost (my files only ?)

But now with the new DL-Area - WHERE have I to post these files ?
I couldnt find an upkoad info or address ?

So, if you are still interested, please tell me, where to send my sruff....

Oh it wasn`t just your files, beleve me, i`ve been retriving files for some time now, *sigh*

You can send them to me and i`ll upload them , putting a Mac tag on them, is it o.k. that way?

Hmmm, I have another Question (but no one will hear me, I fear).
Can someone send me the SOURCE of the city-patch (hopefully that ist not in assembler....) ?

Perhaps it will be possible to make a city-patch for the Mac, because Macsoft doesnt want to.....
It wpuld be great to be able to convert the upcoming FO2-Mods with more than 3 new locations .......

Or at least a short description, WHAT has to be changed, so get a "city-patch" ....

Thanks for your advice - perhaps it should be added anywhere in the download area, how to UPLOAD files (as was in the "old" version.
