Modifying the 50some hexes of view range around the Hero

Hi this is my first post on the forum. My question is as stated in the topic. Does anyone know any way to modify the view range (i.e. see the full map)

If you want the PLAYER to see more of the map in one screen, then I fear the only way is to increase the game resolution. You'll find such a patch in the files section. Also see the FIFE project screenshots. If you want PC/NPC to see further, then I think that's hardcoded. I've been tinkering with the game's guts for more than 18 months now, and never saw anything concerning this.

Thanks for the answer I guess more than 50 range rifles will be shelved for now. I was thinking of increasing ranges of weps. but if you cant see further 50 hexes than no point in increasing it.
