Modok to Ghost farm tunnel?

For megamod there is a quest to find a way to build an underground tunnel from modoc to ghost farm, anyone know how to complete this quest? Also, how do you access this area? I blew up the door but still cannot climb down I just get "You see a ladder under the broken planks of the trap door. If only you could get to it"

rope no, i can blow up the door and it shows the image for stairs going down but same message apears

Did you try lockpicking the trapdoor before blowing it up? Maybe this is the equivalent to a jammed lock for explosions.

yeah I get a "that does nothing" I am thinking the megamod wasn't completed fully so could be a lot of broken quests and such
