Monitor probs...

Basically my monitor's fucked. It's a Futura 17" that I got around Christmastime, with my new comp. The problem is it readjusts the vertical and horizontal placement/sizing almost every time I turn on the damn thing. Sometimes the vertical placing will be way down and i'll have to resize it. Other times it'll be the horizontal placement. I've never heard of or encountered a problem like this, but I'm a relative newbie so sorry if this is a dumbass question. If more info is needed to make a prognosis I can dig more up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Try jumping to MSDOS and see if the screen looks strange. If it doesn't maybe it's just a Windows problem. Still.. it might be that the monitor's memory (to store sizes, etc. for certain screen resolutions) may be screwed, you might try returning it...
