Moore's briefcase

Can the item "Moore's briefcase" in Fallout 2 be opened in any way, and if so.... What's in it?

I've played all sorts of angels and used all sorts of methods just to see if it was possible to open this briefcase, but I can't seem to crack the gecko...

in an old fallout 2 strategy guide i found, (the ones made in paper, if you remember those days), there is an opened moore's briefcase item... but was never implemented i assume
