More Concept Art

There is no hope :(
The picture is nice but ... I do not feel the "fallouty climate"

After last week's great art :) I do really think this concept art is somewhat disappointing :( I mean it is nice too look at, but it is rather generic looking, and for some reason the bloom or the hdr brush has been at work again....

Hopefully, these concept arts only say something about the setting...

I tend to agree. It's a pretty sweet post-apoc picture, but if I saw it out of context, I wouldn't think "Wow, that looks like something out of fallout."

i hope its just bethesda's tactic - give us 4 shity concepts and then blow away by one great trailer

but in other way - does it have any sense?

At least it existed in the fifties already, so no miss there

Arright, so, will I be able to find a Missile Shield in D.C. in Fallout 3? :)

yeah, it's rather disappointing after last weeks art work. i was hoping for something that would build on the close up of last week.

but i must say, i don't understand the constant "not-fallouty" comments. to each his own i suppose, these don't feel fallout 1/2 to me, but they do feel like "fallouty".

I bet the movie will be a wmv file with slideshow of concept already shown and nice music from beth's fallout site playing in background :P

sadly i wouldn't be surprised. when i hear "teaser trailer" i automatically assume i won't see any gameplay footage or anything of real substance.

I already see myself among them ruins... strafing and shooting my rocket launcher at them bad mutants....all this in a such great place witch such historical value!

The Rancor keeper from Return of the Jedi???

Fallout ? Where ?
I HATE this one ( for obvious reasons I think ). But again, have no fear because this is a concept art done by a freelance artist and has nothing to do with Fallout 3 whatsoever...

It looks like a she...with them big titties

4 words :

it is not fallout

and now that i read that the executive producer (Todd Howard) is a Super Man Fan boy ,i am completely disappointed !

so is that supposed to be smth like a hydro power plant ? or a waste treatment facility ? i dont see how either could work .. given the geography - you can see water coming out of the pipes, also something that resembles a sewage filtering pool .. or am i reading too much into this and this is generic and without purpose ?

all in all i'm a bit dissapointed .. i expected some human touch in the last one .. closeups... emotions

Let's keep in mind that Bethesda already admitted these "concept arts" have nothing to do with the game, the artist hasn't been contracted to do in-game work and doesn't actually know anything about Fallout.

As to why Bethesda is putting out what is essentially fake art, who knows.

I'm gonna go againts the grain here and say, well this one does remind me a bit of Fallout.
More Fallout 2 than anything, the industrial junk in the foreground is what's doing it.
A vague reminder of the tanker.

so.........
.....cool fake art

Anyway cities are there why not to show them out?? Nuclear warfare or not cities can't be annihilated like nothing.

Where's the vaultboy artwork-thing? That was great entertainment and a proof of work

The art is really just upsetting. I know it isn't a part of the game, so why the hell should I look at it?
