mouse jumps

First time out of the vault
every time i use the right mousebutton to zoom my mouse jumps a bit to the right and/or down.

i have no idea why thats happening and the same happens if i try to change my mouse with a rightclick in fo1/2 to pick something up.

i am using a 5 button laser usb mouse, witch is pretty new.

i tried an old 2 button serial mouse too, but got the same problems.

i experienced this mousejumps only while playing the fallout series and thats why i have no damn solution for it...

i really hope someone can help me cause i tried to play the old fallouts again and its so damn annoying that its no fun to play like that.

i already tried to change my mousebuttons, but that just lead to mousejumps using any mousebutton...
 
Holy crap you have a serial port mouse that you can still get decent drivers for? or is it the round green plug (ps2)?

As far as the mouse jumping issue is concerned are you playing in windowed mode or no? And how far is it jumping that it is such a problem?
