First and foremost, let me say hello to all the fallout community from my 1 year long absence (probably unnoticed but still...). I must now turn at you for help.
I recently installed Office 2000 Professional and because I wasn't fully aware (it was 2:00 and I had a Calculus exam the next day) of what I was doing, I accidentally installed Photoeditor from the cd. What I didn't know is that the @#%$#@%$ program took over the functions of my Internet Explorer (to open images...I like to browse them and have back and forward functions). I tried going to the file types menu and editing the actions and the programs used to open the files but even though I added the action "open" and "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Iexplore.exe" "%1" to the menu and removed the photo editor actions...photo editor still opened the files...but the worse came when I uninstalled photo editor. Jpeg, jpg, jpe and gif files are gone. I even tried creating the jpeg file type and adding the actions but when I click the files...the screen just flashes for .3 secs and then returns to what I was doing. Can you help a needy computer wannabe get his Internet Explorer to open jpg and gif files again?
