I started playing multiplayed a few days ago, playing the usual 10k one char games, and have been really been getting myself thrashed. After watching advanced players, Ive tried to mimic their characters as best as possible
(gauss pistols, pancors, high AP, good perception, and perks like bonus ranged dmg (2) lifegiver (2) bonus rate of fire, sharpershooter, sniper, silentrunning and better criticals with a character around lv27-30)
but Im still left with a few questions and I hope someone can fill me in on them.
1) I notice most ppl use humans but without power armour. Even though it costs alot of pts and the painful -70 to sneak, I still find it very weird few use it, so what armour is used most commonly?
2) It seems like almost every shot I get from a gauss pistol renders me unconscious, what sort of stats/perks/whatever makes that possible and is it worth getting bonehead as a perk or is there another way to defend against this?
3) what combination of drugs creates the best effect and minimal chances of OD'ing? Ive gotten alot of mixed advice on this one thats hard to judge.
4) lastly, and I know this sounds stupid, but where do you take the flag in CTF games to win?
any advice would help alot and any other comments about 10k character building would be very helpful.
