Saw it the other day and I must say it's excellent. I've heard that it was pretty good and I was hoping Stevie would finally make a decent movie but this one pretty much blew me away, it's probably his most mature work yet. Also, Spielberg managed to avoid the sentimentality that plagues his earlier "serious" movies. Go see it if you still haven't.

A local newspaper summed Stevie's career up perfectly when they wrote something to the extent that "Steven Spielberg's road to fame has been paved by monsters and Jews." :)

i found it quite mediocre. it's an ok movie, but all the hype makes it look worse in my eyes.

is there anything new in this movie? no.
is it so much better than other movies on the theme? no.
is the acting & scenario extremely good perhaps? not really.

i was kinda underwhelmed & the feeling of déjà vu was present all the time. i just dont get it...

I've only seen the trailer, and it was really poorly made. People crying furiously and tons of explosions. I think the movie might be ok, though. Guess I'll never know.

Seems over hyped. Spielberg has done his best movies years ago, don't think this one will break the pattern.
Most of his newer movies are so "safe" and often kinda over sentimental.

I got drunk and went up a gril's skirt in that town. Also saw the Police chase some antiglobalization fucktards. Also managed to spit at them from my 9th floor hotel room, most beautiful room I have ever seen let alone spent three magical nights in. Great place.

Whoops, this is about the movie.

when grills start wearing skirts, it's time to lay off the booze Johnnyboy.
