My Beef with F3

Right, see with Fallout 1 and 2 an even Tactics, you found pockets of civilization chock a block with missions and interesting side missions, so far in F3 it really does feel like its the end of man, you have Megaton and Rivet City.. then you have the place on the bridge... Both are not bad for the scale but the missions are so few its hard to actually find stuff to do....
I found this place in the middle of a warzone... it had a pished up Russian dude, so I took one of his whores to Rivet City, this was time consuming and very dangerous not to mention expensive in ammo and stimpaxs. .. I got nothing for doing this other than karma! :(

Are there any other towns I can visit for missions? The game really does feel like am in an apocalypitc wasteland but come on! In Fallout 1 & 2 you at least had 5 towns in different sizes fulla survivors... even the places in this game seem empty and boring with no missions!

Maybe I need help! I just cannae be bothered going and fighting Super Mutants or the Enclave all the time!

Are you shitting me?

Ether you screwed up or something is wrong with the way your playing.

My first play through was filled with side-missions, too much in fact! Before I finished the ones I had I finished the main plot.

Do some more main missions, don't fast travel all the time, try to find secrets city and locations, and try looking up north. This will get you side missions.

Thanks for the reply Dave. Wondering about now means I'm generally encountering powerful enemies thanks to this whatever level you are thats the level of the baddie you meet.
Gonna take yer advice and wander about up north, spent too long down in the DC ruins where its total bat shit with baddies.

I have been fast travelling but thats just to avoid fighting, though I expected in this game that if you did meet something on the way it would stop the fast travel.

*SuAside* I dunno what your on about, but I think Troll on here is a derogatory term for something.
