First time out of the vault
This is maybe the most enraging thing I have ever experienced while playing a PC game. My copy of fallout is version 1.0 unpatched, but i didn't expect a bug of this magnitude.
I've played this game for a month and I'm now at the point where I'm just leveling up as fast as I can wipe out Navarro with my followers (Marcus, Sulik and Cassidy). They're carrying virtually 100,000 worth of guns and ammo. I also only have two save slots. One is at the end of the Temple of Trials, and the other is my current one. I'm used that save slot for a long time. Big Mistake.
My character is a made man with the wright family. Yay. But What I did not know is that being a made man with one family causes all the other families to shoot you on sight. So I went into the shark club, unsuspectingly. Their goons were all friendly to me, so I had no problem yet. Then I talk to Angela Bishop and we have Jet sex. After the brief fade to black, I save the game. I'm at the top floor of the shark club. My followers aren't there.
Not a problem, I think. I was downstairs when I spoke to Angela, they're waiting for me there. So I look for the stairs and there's a set of stairs where Papa Bishop is playing bishop with some idiots. So I walk in, expecting no hostility and suddenly his guard says "you dumb mother******, I kill you" and opens fire. With advanced power armor and a hk g11e, they're small fries and they die. I go downstairs. A new wave of goons rush at me. I slay them all. But none of my followers are to be found. I am distressed. So I think maybe they're waiting outside the casino. Wrong. I wipe out the first floor and no followers there or anywhere in all of New Reno.
Now I'm really confused. Maybe they went back to their recruitment places. I go to Broken Hills, no Marcus, Vault City, no Cassidy, Klamath, no Sulik. Now I'm pissed. They're carrying a lot of valuables and I need their help to destroy the Oil Rig. So what the hell happened here?
