I can't put a song on a website, excepy for MP3.com because of weird copyright laws I don't understand. So if anybody wants to hear it leave me a message, and I'll try to contact you to send a song or two.

That will keep everyone else safe, but I will still be liable for the damages.

Keep in mind this isn't like downloading illegal copies of music, I'll be actively breaking copyright laws. It's a felony.
 
Since you mentioned the songs you wanted to upload are cover material, what's the problem?
It isn't like ripping off Metallica's song from the CD and posting it online, is it?

Since it's a cover song, it means you/you and your band did a remake of another group's song, not stole the original song and claimed it your own, like, say, puff daddy.

Dunno, your copyright laws are indeed weird...
 
i really doubt that because you upload one little mp3, the RIAA is going to sue your ass...unless you're terrible, discustingly rich offcourse...those guys can SMELL money.
