Where'd That 6th Toe Come From?
So, after playing Fallout 2 for the first time, I have to say, I have a lot of opinions on the game, it's locations, and characters, so without further ado: My review
Arroyo
Arroyo, the tribal village you start out in, is a little basic, but as a starter location it works. I like the OST they gave the region, and the Temple of Trials wasn't too challenging for me. It was fun to explore the initial place, before I got ready to venture on.Klamath
My opinions on Klamath are basically the same. Cool place, nice quests, and I was able to get my companion Sulik, who helped me out with his burst weaponry A LOT! (Never got the dude a Super Sledge hammer, big regret of mines). The Den
The Den felt really, really post-apocalyptic. Druggies, addicts, gangs, slavery, and throughout it all, just a few who attempt to make the Den a better, less horrific place. I killed Metzger her, to let Rebecca Dyer take over the town, and got the car from Smitty (I also killed a lot of merchants, and I mean a LOT of merchants, for everything they had).Modoc
Ofc, in Modoc, I lead the Modoc-ites and the Slags to the good ending, after meeting up with Karl in the Den. Vault City & Gecko
Interesting place. First Citizen was a little rude, but I managed to make my way around the place. Met John Cassidy and in Gecko, I got Lenny as a companion too. I tried to help Gecko, but I didn't get the perfect ending, Gecko and Vault City were peaceful but antipathetic still.Redding
Couldn't do the Sheriff's quests at first, which was annoying, but when I was able too I lead the town to joining NCR.Broken Hills
Broken Hills was actually one of my favorite locations in Fallout 2. I liked the theme of the humans, ghouls, and Super Muties living together and working, and I helped keep peace in the town. Still upset that Broken Hills dried up, I wanted it to last forever.
