My Video Review/Reading of Fallout 1

It Wandered In From the Wastes
Hey everybody.

I've been a part of the NMA community off and on for the past 3-4 years and I have always enjoyed listening to everyone's opinions on all of the Fallout games.

Well, I have started doing video reviews of video games on my Youtube channel and I just finished mine for Fallout 1. The main focus is to explain why Fallout is a classic and give one person's perspective on why it means so much to me and many other people.

I spent a long time on it and would be very appreciative to those who view it. Any feedback/opinions on my reading of the game would also be welcome.

Thanks!

I liked it.
There were a couple of minor things that made me go "whaaaa...?" but overall good showing.

Cool. But there is one thing I don't like about it. In reviews, you should NOT spoil. Especially about thing as important as Vault Dweller's banishment. It was the best thing in whole plot, a twist that no one could have predicted and it is just wrong to reveal it. Goal of the review was to convince new players to play Fallout, but you're spoiling a very important fact.

Well, he said in the beginning something like "you probably know the story etc if you're watching this", so spoiling here isn't bad...I think.

Thanks.

Yeah, I knew I was spoiling but like Atomkiller said I assumed that people already knew the story. Also, the ending of the game is such a pivotal part in my morality section I don't think I could have left it out.

Looking back on it there were a few spots I could tweak and honestly I like Fallout 2 a wee bit more than Fallout 1 but mainly I just wanted people who have heard the story of Fallout 1 but have only played Fallout 3 to understand why I respect it so much as a classic game.
