1. Powered Armours only available at the very end of the game
2. Melee combat to be more useful. Maybe make guns more rare early on.
3. All the cities from FO1 + FO2 and perhaps even more.
4. Less energy weapons I mean where would you get stuff like that after a nuclear war.
5. Ammo to be much harder to come by.
6. No Psi powers that would not be fallout.
7. More flexible combat system. Introduce some of X-COM's features such as crouching to increase accuracy and make it harder to hit you.
8. No stupid stuff like Hakunin communicating with you in your dreams.
9. Turn based combat to at least be an option I don't like real time in an RPG.
10. And finally just a small thing when firing unaimed you can hit anywhere but you're more likely to hit in the chest due to size.

1) The very end? Sure it's tough, but one bad critical with a energy weapon'll end you right where you stand. Leaving Powered Armour to end would make it more challenging for the hardcore RPG gamer

2) I liked melee. More melee would kick ass. I loved the super sledge, thrusting it into a raider, sending him sliding like a curling stone ;)

3) That would be cool, but some of them would be smoldering creaters. On the lighter side, it could be a depot for lots of goodies.

4) Energy weapons kick ass! Of course, their range could be cut shorter, esp. the lasers (as you know, the strength disipates over range)

5) Yeah, some of the stores sell too much ammo for you to buy, and sometimes ammo turns up in the oddest places, like in a radscorpion cave.

6) Psi powers? You mean psionic?

7) FO Tactics has crouching, as well as climbing. Cool, eh?

8) It's those voices again.....

9) The good thing about turn based, is that if you're losing, you can think of ways to get out of there more quickly. The good thing about real-time is realism. The combat setting option would be ideal, so anyone can play w/o getting bored/frustrated. If you don't like combat or are a beginner or are used to FO, you can take turn based. If you are an expert, want more challenges or are used to Bulder's Gate, you could take real-time.

10) True, but most people will want to aim for the chest to ensure a hit.

How about instead of just having an unaimed and aimed shots have snapshot which is just a random hit anywhere on the body, semi aimed always aim for body and aimed shots.

Yeah I meant psionic a few people have suggested them but I don't want them in the game. They worked in X-COM but its a completely different game.

I like the jagged alliance 2 style move in real time fight in turn based that works very well.

I like my trusty mega power fist that kicked ass with the slayer perk.

If BOS has half of what X-COM had it'll be a great game but I'd prefer a real fallout 3.

<< The good thing about real-time is realism. >>

What? The real-time isn't any more realistic than turn-based. All real-time does is allows the combat to go by faster.

Most of us know, as X (where X is a game idea) aproaches realism, annoyance & frustration increases. So, don't use realism as a valid argument for anything.

you had a lot of good points. i think fallout 3 should have a lot less ammo and rely on melee and unarmed to get you through the first half of the game. about realtime though i think if were talking about fallout 3 not fallout:BOS, i think they should stick to turn based. It worked with FA1 and 2 so if its not broke dont fix it. (im not to fond of real time anyway. you ever played comand and conquer? where some missions they give you 5 troops and a freakin jeep and then you have to go and take out an enrtire enemy base. I always get my assed kicked.)

P.S. thank you for pointing out that gay ass hakunin! i hate that guy. here i am pimpin some hoe's in new reno, crusin around town in my highwayman and suddenly...."Choson. you must save us. we are freakin morons and we cant defend ourselves." (you ever notice how easy it would be for like raiders or mercinarys or something to wipe out your entire village? you have barass naked dudeds with freakin spears defending your whole village.) anyway, that enough from me.

RE: the wishlist

X-COM apocalypse had the best of both worlds you could play it real time or tutn based thats how fo3 should be.

Command and Conquer games aren't exactly my faves Tiberian Sun was an abdolute and total rip off. Might as well have played red alert again.

The original C&C was the best out of the bunch. TS was put out WAY too late. They said to their fans "expect evolutionary, not revolutionary." I say, if you're going to take five years to produce a game, it had BETTER be revolutionary or don't publish it at all.

*STARCRAFT* which came out a year earlier kicks TS's ass. It supports one of the best map editors in *any game*, has great online routines so your game doesn't die from some odd error (even on a LAN), supports eight players at once (TS only supports 4), and Blizzard spent most of their time BALANCING the races to make the game fair and good.

One thing I hate about TS is that they employed actors to be the commanders instead of talking directly to you. Their acting SUCKS, especially the GDI intro, the "you son of a bitch" line was one of the WORST acting jobs I've seen. And they even changed the EVA's voice.

RE: Yeah, TS SUCKED

I missed the original command & conquer it came out quite some time before I got my PC. To be honest they might as well have just used the red alert engine and rolled it out in six months it would have probably looked better as well. Voxels look really really bad.

I've never played Starcraft over the internet but it was damn good in single player. The amount of work they put into designing the missions made a lot of difference. My favourite mission was the one where you had to take out the protoss while protecting the Zerg then at the end of the mission the Zerg swarmed you.
