Need some help with FO2

When I install FO2 with small to the largest and I go to play the game it tells me it Couldn't Find/Load Text Fonts.

I read the sticky for troubleshooting and it says to find mapper2.cfg I cant find this file. Could it be listed under a different name?

Any help would rock.

The cfg file is appropriately called fallout2.cfg and is incidentally the only such file in the Fallout 2 folder.

Round 2

So I go through local disk (C then My Program files, then to BlackIsle folder, then to the Fallout2 folder and I see nothing with the name fallout2.cfg or mapper2.cfg.

I see a file named Critter, a Master.dat folder with nothing in it, a Data folder and an Ereg folder, I see a file with some guys face on it that says fallout2 but that's to play the game.

Am I doing this right?
