Couldn't find info on this, although I'm sure it's out there. What are the effects of having a negative competency in skills?
I'm guessing it acts as a 0% skill and you just have to pay the extra cost to get it past 0%, but I'm not sure. In the game I just started I have -2% barter and it's been bothering me, but I don't really want to spend any skill points in barter.
I really like my character this playthrough. I named him Driver after the main character in the movie Drive who doesn't say much (to make roleplay sense of the low charisma and because he's going to be cruising around in the highwayman soon):
St 5
Pe 9
En 4
Ch 2

Ag 10
Lk 8
I took Gifted and Finesse and tagged small guns as my combat skill. I plan on playing mostly with the .44 revolver and maybe a little gauss pistol towards the end, but I really enjoy the .44 revolver. I've never done a game with perception this high so I'm wondering if it's really going to make much of a difference.
