K...This may just be me but I have seen an old movie called "Neon City" 
I dunno if anyone else has seen it or not. Now in it the world has been screwed up, not nuked just really really messed up because of ozone experiments. In a MAJOR city called Neon City there is a group of peace keepers called the "Neon City RANGERS". Now I am wondering...is that where fallout 2 got the NCR Rangers idea from? If anyone can help or give thoughts its appreciated...Thanks.
