Neverwinter HOTU problem

So i'm soloing Hordes of the underdark with a rogue/assasin, had no major problems until now... - mephistopheles.... I cannot kill him, i chuck acid bombs at the fucker, plant traps, tried all kinds of spells, tried resting, but i cannot get him past injured, as i don't have anything acid related left, my weapons are ineffective (they don't do any damage at all) and my last save is at the portal where the reaper won't talk to me anymore, so i have no other options. Am i screwed? This is of course interesting as a challange, but i'm at a point where i cannot overcome this without additional supplies. Is there something i could to to the sucker, or is this the end? Could i at least give up or something, just to see the credits?

Has anyone who played HOTU experienced this?

You need + on weapons or whatever it was called and there is a forge at the inn in hell were you could imrpove your weapons. Also you could have bought his true name and basically kick his ass without a fight.

The + is no use with a rogue, because mephis has a ton of resistance, for which you have to deal huge damage, i have a finese based character, everything comes from my dexterity, so i have a hard time against liches and the like, where they are resistant to everything, and i killed the smith to boot . I don't think i can buy the name now, as i don't know a way to get back to that chick.
