New Cthulhu Mythos Book List - Anything Missing?

PermutedPress

First time out of the vault
Hello everyone,

I don't know if there are any Lovecraft fans here but if so I’d like to enlist your help on a new project I’m working on. I’ve set up a new web site I’m calling The Ultimate Mythos Book List where I’m listing every printed work set in or using parts of the Cthulhu Mythos that I can find. I’ve currently got a ton of stuff up and am continuing to work.

Here’s where you all (especially the Mythos experts) come in: please take a look at the list and let me know what’s missing. I know that I have left some things out. The list is here:

Any feedback is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Jacob

An "inspriation" list without Hodgson has some things missing, yes.

I'm passing your site on to some people including a guy who publishes Lovecraft and Lovecraft homages in Swedish, maybe you'll hear from them.

Have you done the basic Books-in-Print search under author and subject? Also the major publishers are limited. Del Ray seems to be publishing Cthulhu stuff again. Little publishers abound and a lot of stories that are Cthulhu related don't necessary show up- for instance Stephen King's Jerusalem's Lot in Night Shift is Lovercraft.

Here's a quick look from my local library on Lovecraft-

Bah. What good is a demon with tentacles that doesn't even rape Japanese schoolgirls!?!

There's not enough tentacle rape bukkake in those books I tell ya.

Foolish Ashmo,

Don't you realize that the greatest tentacle rape of all on film- the tree rape from Evil Dead 1, was based on Lovecraft? The book of evil used is the Necronomicon.

I would argue that even the great tentacle rape figured in that B-movie classic Galaxy of Terror may have some Cthulhu reference.
