New FOT Sprite Editor!!!

First time out of the vault
Looking for some help. Is there anyone who could do some 3D renderings of some vehicles for me. Need all 32 directions, would like it to be of the Highwayman from Fallout2 if possible. I will be placing this in the game as a Sprite. Yes you've read it right. Want proof check at TRS, the Reaver can now use the rocket launcher while standing.

I take it there is no one wanting to Mod FOT. Guess I'll look else where.

You could be right, on the otherhand if you came right out and explained in detail what you are up to and what exactly you need rather than cryptic shit like this;

I'm sure there are some 3d modellers around who'd like to change FOT's graphics, but as you're aware this hasn't been possible in the past and anyone who's previously posted about making new character and vehicle sprites has had their bubble burst and nothing in your post would lead anyone (who hasn't seen what you're working on) to believe that anything has changed.

Now I don't want to steal your thunder and make your announcement for you, but you're not going to find help this way.
 
Had already tried for help on 3 other forums

I had already posted about what I'm up to on three other forums. Only got one possible reply. By the way still need to get you the latest, fixed alot of small things. Even got the frame offsets working the same as with tiles. s=down, w=up, a=left, d=right. Also did layers same way, just different keys. i=up, k=down, j=left, l=right, you select the layer and now move it to postions it. Even got shadows converting correctly. Can now also create single layered Sprites form vehicles and characters. Should have it up for down load on TRS, early next week. Wanted to do a vehicle and upload it as a template, for those who might want the tool. Kept getting told no ones editing FOT, or can't be done. want to surprise some folks. Oh well. Thats right very shortly there will finialy be a tool that will allow you to edit the Sprites in FOT, even the vehicles and characters. You will need to create images in a BMP 256 color format, and you then use the tool to import them into the Sprite.
 
I know the feeling about wanting to suprise people, but without clear communications nothing gets done, or at least done right.

There's several modellers who post in the fan art forum, probably they don't check this forum very often if at all but if you try contact one or two via pms and explain exactly what you need you might have more luck.

I'll try there. I plan to have the Viewer/Editer released by Mid next week. I got a bit side tracked on trying to get editing the AnimationList, FramesList, and DirectionsList as well as the Sequences code working, almost done, however haven't realy test that code well, so for now I'll go ahead and release the latest, and work on them later, if anyone wants that. Already have TRS ready to post it for me. Will let you know when its uploaded.
 
You can upload direct to 3d Downloads now as well.

Also you might want to contact Nekid, while the rpgs use a slightly different scale and angle this might make a useful template for a tutorial, if he'll let you have the renders and do the extra directions for you.

Edit: Ugh I said contact the modellers direct via private messaging not post an advert in the forum.

I tried awhile back to upload the Reaver but had problems with getting it uploaded. Kept dropping out on me.

Yeah: just re-read your last, its late and had one too many. I'll go edit that.

I saw it at The Radiated Society....it's in the Tutorials for FOT, but not in the D/L section.

Looks easy to use...I might get an AI contolled tank yet.

Of course now I have to change part of the campaign, not to mention the time on the renderer.
