New graphics in Fo2 Mapper "Add to inv" interface

Sirren67

Look, Ma! Two Heads!
I'm adding new protos for armour/weapons crafting. When I select a container to add items, the "Add to inv" interface shows my new items as blank slots. Does anybody know if there's a way to have them displyed, or I simply have to learn by heart theyr position?

I think you edited your items by the mapper editor, and this items was with read-only attribute. Then they do not save properly after quiting from mapper.

I think you should mark all proto files with archive (not read-only) attribute before using mapper2, but mark them read-only attribute before start game Fallout2.

sorry for my Englsih

No, no... It's not about saving protos or making new ones... It's about the interface you use to put an item in a container/critter's inventory... My new protos are not displayed, making difficult to give new weapons to my critters. I can easyly select new protos from the items bar and put them on the ground...
Thanks anyway. See you.

EDIT
I had several protos wich were sitting there from stone age and got deleted/thrown away during this last year. I erased them from my item.lst and now my working protos show correctly.

Edit part two (2\2\06):
WARNING: DANGER. Don't do as I stated above. There cannot be "empty spaces" in .lst files. You risk serious problems with scripts and game crashes/erratic behaviour. If you have the same problem, then you either live with it or rebuild your protos.
Get fresh items.lst and headers, erase your protos (including protos
outputs in HDD/Follout2/dev/protos/items). Then open the mapper, make new protos and register them again. If you have many new items this can be a pain, but it is FAILSAFE. Bye.
