mvBarracuda posted in the IanOut forum, that they've launched a new version of the site, and want to have the team reinforced substantially:
The whole point that beta 5 won't be here in next months led me to the decision that we need to build a strong team NOW so that after the release we got a good crew to bring IanOut forward.

The page isn't fully finished and the cms will be upgraded the next days but feel free to register, make some nice posts in the forums and start a "We want Beta 5"-demonstration ;)

To refresh your memory, IanOut will be an open source engine that will resemble Fallout 2 as accurately as possible, have strong modding support and be portable to Linux. Please drop by at www.ianout.de to show your support and perhaps help the project develop.

Hmm my intention was to open the page just for the IanOut fans. That's why I called it "silent" launch.

But no prob with the news coverage ;) According to the visitors stats the project seems to interest nobody anymore :( But hopefully we'll soon some new devs on board after the CVS is set up we'll do a "real" launch.

Maybe somebody could sent to news to the vats and cover our new page with a news after the page is really ready and the CVS is set up :?:

Mea culpa. But I guess we're all IanOut fans.

Speaking of new sites, I hope you don't mind that I mirrored your guide at http://per.fallout.prv.pl at the Uni server. Have you ever considered getting a free alias for your original site?

Complete with "reklamy Google" and popups I don't endorse! You'd better send me part of the millions you're making off my hard work.

It's been suggested. What's wrong with addresses like hg4j343g%¤#& anyway? It's not like people have to type them in all that much.

I'm not getting a penny  Unfortunately, there's no such thing as a "free alias"

Well, sometimes I'd like to check something in your guide without navigating through google, links page of the depths of my hard drive. That's the prime reason I made this mirror.
