Well I decided to post a new poll, based on some feedback Briosafreak had gotten. The new question is: Should there be playable races in Fallout 3?
Well give us your answer and vote now!

I say Yes, as long as it'll fit within a good main storyline. However, that doesn't seem really realistic, I wonder if they'll pull it off....

I don’t think people understand the drawbacks of playable races, and the fact that it will be quite hard to make sense of them.

BTW, I’m new.

Yeah, that's a good point. While it would be fun to go traipsing around as a ghoul, a super mutant, or even a deathclaw, it would make for a LOT of storyline work...work that, quite frankly, I doubt old JE and the rest of I-Play care/have time to do...

I'd rather just be a good old pure-strain human than sacrifice story and playability...

Of course...there's always room for a Fallout MMORPG...

Well I'm against playable races. It'll be hell to make a main storyline, they actually have to create one for each race! And I don't think they're up for that.

Pfft, what action-oriented dumbwits are responsible for the huge amount of "Hell yeah"?

So, any game with races is an action gamers game, Kindo? I find that had to agree with...

Mohrg

I think he's saying: Any game that has playable races probably has little in the way of main story.

However, it is possible to make a decent storyline(AT least semi-decent, look at Morrowind), but I don't really think it'll be possible within Fallout, since the diversity between the races is way too large, and there are too many racial tensions to make it work.
