Okay, so I have New Vegas, for 360 obviously, and I'm at around the ten hour in mark, and the game keeps freezing up now every time I load it. The roulette ball just stops in the top left of the wheel. I've left it for an hour. No luck. If I try to load an earlier game, I get the 'unable to locate hard drive/needs downoadable content' message. Not been able to play it for three days. I've applied the first patch, a week ago when I bought the game, and as far as I know, there hasn't been another one since. I have seen on various websites that a new patch came out the day before yesterday, but my 360 hasn't prompted me to update the game again.
So my question, should I wait, in the hope that a new XBox360 patch will come out in the next day or so, or restart my game in the hope that it won't happen again ten hours down the line? It's very frustrating either way. THANKS for any help/advice.
P.S. Problem is not my 360; I've tried it in two.
P.P.S. Yes I have it on 360, not PC. Please don't kill me.
