This article almost perfectly describes the situation with the Wii and stuff...interesting read...

Another intersting thing about this article is that we can apply this logic to the REST OF THE INDUSTRY...

I mean, you have your artists who make games for gamers. You know what I mean....By Gamers for Gamers remember?

And then we have another companies like EA and Zenimax that make games mainly for the $$$..

The true sad part of the article is that the "artist" desighners seem to be dwindling and the $$$ people are on the rise..

So my point is: NoA sucks and so do the companies that follow a similar mantra: $$$$$$

To summarize the guy's giant rant...

"NoA won't publish risky, potentially unprofitable games like Fatal Frame IV, Captain Rainbow, Trace Memory 2, Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland, Mother 3, Disaster: Day of Crisis, and many others, because they care more about the bottom line than they care about distributing art."

At least it's better than the other guy's rant which was just anti-nintendo misinformation.

Of course, going by this guy's list of games he expects nintendo to port... Captain Rainbow and Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland are definitely not US games with very japanese styled humor. It's hard to imagine these games being ported.

Likewise, Fatal Frame 4 was very buggy and if I remember right, they weren't given the funding to fix the bugs for the American release, so NOA said they don't want the game unless the bugs are fixed... seems legitimate.

As for Disaster... the game was supposed to be mediocre, so it's legit but is it really enough to get upset about?

Overall, the guy's speaking without much information and didn't really say much.

It's a bit much to ask for Nintendo, a huge multi billion dollar gaming company, to release games that would probably not sell much. Those are niche titles, and the Wii does not belong in a niche market.
