Is it good or I'm wasting my time?

The grain is a byproduct of the 256 color palette and was also used to make art appear more “dirty”. Here’s a quote from the game’s lead artist Leonard Boyarsky on it:

“We also used the pixelization that was inherent in the color paletting process to make everything look dirty, which I was always very proud of but no one noticed...”

But anyways, if you like the cleaner look, go for it!

In respect to a new world after fo1, it is convincing for me. In theory, however. It seems the shadows lost their contrast from reflection.
