No Violence?

First time out of the vault
I was wondering is it possible to complete either Fallout or Fallout 2 without violence, if it is which one(or maybe both)? Like you just take intelligence and charm and talk your way trough the game? at least in fallout tactics it's not possible

Ehe. That's because Fallout tactics is completely and vastly different from both Fallout 1 and 2.

But yes, you can comlete both Fallout 1 and 2 without ever fighting.

I've done it with Fallout 1. Have yet to do it with Fallout 2 though.

So, it's possible.

If I recall correctly, hiding in a corner and letting the guns take him out worked.

In other words, you and your teammates can avoid all fights, and for as far as I know, you can't ever let non-party members fight people.

Duh. But we were talking about "someone". The turrets aren't people.

Meh, it's still combat.

Admitidly, it's somewhat like using the nuke in the cathedral or the self destruct, but still, it's combat for Frankie.

Admitidly, you dont fire a shot that way.

The turrets worked for me when I didn't even think that they could seriously harm the final boss, so I didn't even get to fight him properly the first time, he just ran out of ammo and died while I fought the troopers.

why play fallout if you dont want violence? i fail to see the point of playing a game that revolves around a waste land filled with hostile creatures, and not using violence??

It's probably not not wanting voilence, it's the challenge of playing the game in an alternative way.
