NPC change appearance topic

Most of these topics dont get many replies. So lets just make this one big then maybe it will end new topics like these ones

Does there already exist a walkthrough for this if not
I really would like to have one of those. step by step would be the best........

To change NPC's I usually use the mapper from Team-X, it's easy to use.

somewhat later.......

well this program looks nice. but still im not succesfull of editing vic into an other player. I cant even get a simple barrel to work at my FA 2 game

this is what I did....
Im undating that den map out the Patch000.dat
then im opening it in mapper ,do some changes, save the game
Import the den map into patch000.dat
start the game, loaded , went to the Den.
nope no barrel.

I tried starting a new game but without any succes

anyone that can help me here?
oh yea i can't read russian

I would suggest putting the map in Fallout2/data/maps
