NPC Skill Change

Haha this one is pretty weird: Vic's skill changed from "repair" to "small guns"...is this normal? This is bad news for me because I need him to fiddle with the force field emitters in the Army Depot.

I think this happened after my last level up because I do have a saved game where he has his Repair skill. Could it be that when he leveled up his Small Guns skill exceeded his Repair skill so now it becomes his primary?

Another hilarious thing is when I tried to use "expanded lockpick set" on the locked footlocker in that place where you get the howitzer shell(in fact, it might have been the same footlocker the howitzer shell was in) it thinks I want to talk to Vic.


Oh and for the record, I did do a search before posting and turned up nothing. Maybe I'm just horrible at searching? O_o

EDIT: I haven't seen that howitzer thing you speak of before though. Weird!!
 
Patches: 1.2 patch and the Killap's unofficial patch. Maybe this thread belongs in the mod forum :x

whoops and by Howitzer I actually meant "Howitzer Shell"
 
The displayed skill is indeed the one that's highest at the moment - even if it's only because of temporary stat bonuses, or because one of his stat files was altered by a mod - but it should have no effect on whether Vic will actually perform repairage or not.
