Unlike Sky Captain's world of Shiney, this is one of the best implementations of all-digital backgrounds we'll probably ever see. Anybody who's read the comics can identify all the scenes in this trailer, and they almost seem to jump right off the ink.

Fuck Spiderman. This will be the best comic book movie, ever.
 
Bruce Willis kicks ass, and so does this movie. (At least from what you can see from the preview)

Hey man, Jessica Alba is Nancy Callahan as far as I'm concerned.

And if they follow the comics in order, which I have no doubt they will, Hartigan's story will be the movie's end. Which would be the best possible ending. :)

Being German and thus trained to spot and complain about a swastika from a mile's distance I would say that is indeed a swastika with arrow heads.

Indeed. The movie seems awesome, if you can judge it by the trailer.

I love that color.

Also, I managed to find the actual .mov file (It's was harder than you think, most sites will not let you download it.) So you can download it onto your hard drive if you want, but for some reason it didn't play at as high a framerate on my computer, so you might at well just goto Bradylama's link.

There was a quicktime movie released on movie websites before the Apple one that were at a significantly slower framerate than the Windows Media version. That's probably the one you got.

For some reason, though, the trailer on Apple's website plays really tiny for me. But whatever.
 
You open the link, look at the source code and search for the mentioning of a MPEG, AVI, WMV, MOV or QT file. That simple.

I do it all the time because I use Media Player Classic which doesn't provide plugins and QuickTime only annoys me anyway.

Hmm... Why have I never heard of this thing called "Sin City" before? This looks pretty damn awesome. Anyone have any links to dedicated sites about it?
 
Hey, chicks are pretty hot in this movie. I hope there will be some lesbian sex scenes.

Looks very promising from the preview; just hope the film is as good as it looks.

I'm wondering the same thing. Nevertheless, the preview itself is just amazing. I made two wallpapers from the screenshots. Let me know what you think.

one thing i don't like about the second one is that the girls face (in the center) looks very low quility, especailly when compared to Bruce's face.
 
Love the way colour is used, I can't wait to see the real thing. I do believe Tarantino directed a scene in Sin City, repaying Rodriguez for his music direction in Kill Bill V2. Hopefully Sin City will be out this summer, if not Christmas 2005.
