What are your favourite martial art movies? Also, feel free to post any videos or trailers and talk anything MA movie related.
 
lol, there would probably be more replies if you talk about your favorite films first. :P One sentence starter threads are not exactly thought provoking.

Anyway, assuming we ignore Wuxia movies and focus on semi real martial arts, besides the obvious Bruce Lee, Jet Li, and Jackie Chan movies, I want to mention this one:

Bruce Lee's Kung Fu teacher - Yip Man's story was dramatized and made into a movie trilogy.

Edit to add: I had completely forgotten to mention this, but Ip Man 1 and 2 are played by none other than Donnie Yen, who probably deserves to be up there as one of the movie martial arts greats.

Yeh I've seen those, they are awesome. His son Ip Chun taught my dad at some point as well. Though I should tell you that The Legend Is Born is not part of that actual trilogy, just one based on more facts as Ip Chun himself said. They are making an Ip Man 3 as well.

In all seriousness though, if anything I love most of Jet Li's stuff. Don't know if they actually count though, I know feck all about martial arts, I just like his moves.
 
umm I saw enter the Dragon once with my friend Malik a year ago, Never saw no other karate movies though :(. Which is too bad because I loved Enter the Dragon
 
Well, in my humble opinion, the best of Jet Li's movies are probably his role in the Once upon a time in China (Wong Fei Hung) series, Fearless (Huo YuenJia) and perhaps the remake of Fist of Fury, Fist of Legend.
