Gobias

First time out of the vault
Hey folks,
we have done a game magazine and would like your point of view on it.

Its called Probe,
and you find it on the url:
http://www.probe-mag.com

Take a look and come back with some feedback.
I would really like to hear what you say.
[You got to have the latest flash plug in]

Have a nice day!
Gobias

Uh-huhuhhuhh... "Probe" huhuhuhuhuh.

The magazine looks good but I think it needs more content. I like how that Wasteland game cover was in there though. It did not offer anything new, except for the retro game music which I liked but the songs ended too fast. Please try to add more content and let the retro music play, lol. Good job and good luck.

I only had a quick look, but unfortunately I didn't really like what I saw.
The content seems fine, but it does not benefit from the magazine style layout, IMO it would have worked better as a standard webpage rather than emulating a printed mag.
For me the benefit of printed media is that it is solid, real, substantial. It is easier to read than pixels on a monitor, but less dynamic. By necessity it is somewhat out of date and static. The flash magazine style does not have this benefit.
Sorry to be negative, but you did ask! :D

English? No... Cant be in english, if english was your native language you'd butcher it as bad as me... or worse... brittish... ...

Native language = Norse.. Language of the Asguard.

I'd like to say, I've never seen an online mag... but yours looks really nice. Good layout as well. I haven't read the content, I'll do that later.

Check out the ad on page 9 guys! Why don't PCGamer have anything like that?

Thx for the respons guys!

Will try to write some nice post-apoc stuff in the next issue.

Looks very good, a little lacking in content on GTA San Andreas, but there's already so much everywhere else. It's just that it's one of the most anticipated games of the year, and I was hoping I would see some exclusive content.

I absolutely love the classic game covers, and the game over music. :D

I'd think Icelandic is closer to real Norse than anything.
Well, we were pretty close for a while.. Until the Danes came and fuched it all up.

Hey, I'm on page 40... middle guy

and page 44 at some point, i owned all of those games.

I love the retro-music page too.

Nice.

You owned all the games?!
I just had them, meaning i didnt buy them at the time (late 80s). :)

Bonjour Monsieur!

That said, your mag looks a bit overambitious at times. Planning to do it for free?

Yes, its free.
Just some ads, and they are already in the mag.
So for the user: free. Always and forever.

So you still get paid thanks to the ads? A little like Gamereactor, if you know it.
