Now, if you can remember conversations with both Tycho and the idle babble of Cassidy, you would know that "the Mid-West is a radioactive dustbowl". Also, according to Cassidy, there was radioactive storms "miles wide", and I think Tycho talks about constant radioactive tornadoes.

Since FOT is set in that area, I wonder what part those storms would play, or if FOT is set in a splinter reality, much like the characters are from a splinter faction.
 
I have counted 14 different mid-wests...dont ask me where I was counting though LOL *mutters something about splinter realities and the TORMENTS therein ...*
