One more solution to the end video problem

Click Start
Run
Type dxdiag
Click the sound tab(not the video tab)
Lower the sound acceleration to "No Acceleration"
Exit
Try running the game(Fo1 or 2)

It worked for me and a couple of my friends. Hope it works for you.

Remember to reset the sound to full acceleration when you leave Fallout, else your other games may not work.
