Hi everybody!
I just wanted to know how many of you guys have taken your NMA names from famous persons, roleplaying games movies etcetera. You catch my drift. Like Archon, he probably took his name from Vampire: the Masquerade (boy is that word hard to spell or what?)
Am I right?

I took the first part (the initials) from Jim Ross as a little homage to the guy. Besides being an avid gamer, i like to watch wrestling. Specially the WWF and JR has been the best comentator i have ever seen. The second part is something in the line of Miroslav's way.

Well, I just chose mine as a nickname but I have been called Rorschach and I used to be Seraphim... and Archon took his name from, I'm guessing, either StarCraft or the name for the leader of a greek city-state.

Mine is from the Norse Allfather (read God) Odin, and I took it because I'm from Norway and I really like the norse mythology (and mythology in general).

Aguleria? Who's that? A relative to Cristina Aguilera? :)
Its spelled Alighieri, Dante. And yes, he is quite the dark and macabrous (exists?) guy.

[font size=1" color="#FF0000]LAST EDITED ON Apr-16-01 AT 04:14AM (GMT)[p]Don't know about that, but Archon is an old apple IIE game. kinda like chess only with a wizard as the light side and a sorceress on the dark side. each control different minions wich battle each other for the squares. (great game, I still play it on an apple emulator)

my user name is from two different books "Lazlo- from the "Secret life of Laszlo Count Dracula" - not about a vampire at all just a doctor with consumption who thinks other peoples blood will heal him. And "Quezos- from clive barkers Imajica- awesome book about the reuniting of different planes of existance.

My name, as many people might think didn't came from the famous roman emperor, but from a Dutch band I was listening to at the time I created my account here. I misspelled it too, but I thought, what the heck, and I never changed it.

Bah! If Archon took his name from V:TM I'll eat my hat. It had to be from the old chess-type game! Archon! Come on! Paul Reiche III! Later to make Star Control and The Unholy War! We love Archon!
Either that or the Star Trek original series episode: Return of the Archons. That one seems like more of a long shot, though.

Me? Well, I don't know if I should tell. Why don't you guys guess?

Good luck.
