I noticed that RPGDot reported of another Fbos review, this was is done by GamingWorldX. And this guy believes only the hardcore fans will buy this game, what?
The overall score was 6.5/10, here's the bottom line:
Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel is a competent game. It won’t win any awards, but it’s a fun time- assuming you’re playing through with a friend. The combat and gameplay isn’t as enjoyable or polished as Dark Alliance, but fans of the genre looking for a setting other than medieval fantasy should give this one a rental. I can’t recommend a purchase to any but the biggest Fallout fans, however. It’s a damn shame, too, considering this is probably the last product we’ll ever see with the Fallout name on it.
Erm..let me make a correction, the hardcore/biggest Fallout fans will NOT buy this title. Heh...Nice job on Fbos Team Chuck, no one seems to wanna buy it..

I've noticed a lot of reviews have said things like "only die-hard Fallout fans will enjoy it", etc.

*shakes head* Ugh.

Do these guys get paid for their reviews? Because I can write stuff about things I know nothing of...

King of Creation-
Love the sig...

Gir: G.I.R. reporting for duty!
Zim: What's the "G" stand for?
Gir: ...I -don't- knoooow...

Another good review for FOBOShit.

That is a clear sign that THEY are trying to manipulate our opinion about FOBOShit. Take care with the Brainwashing!!!

In the end he says thats probably the last fallout game. Ok. I know THEY are strong but cannot win all battles. There are more PA games and MODS. The mods are the future of fallout community.

Perhaps this reviewer is assuming there exists fan-atics that will buy all things FO, and never violate the shrink wrap because it will depreciate the equity of their investment.

Damn, gave the FOT camo-fag-bag to the nieces.

BG:DA2

This site's review of BG:DA2 shamelessly glows, fawning over all the new features, that certainly are NOT in FO:BOS although it's the same engine. This adoration of BG:DA2 does not compare with Gamespy's review, 3 of 5.
... lots of lackluster game design and art direction...
Maybe the extra art support that drained FO3 for FO:BOS was needed at BG:DA2 too.

The problem with boosting BG:DA2 so high is leaving room for Champions of Naugahyde or Norrath or Whatever. Opinions are emerging that Snowblind can do it better.

Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance was a game that not only helped establish the Diablo-style hack and slasher on the console medium, but also became its own entity, offering up an epic adventure that had it all: great graphics, phenomenal audio, tight controls, and loads of excellent gameplay wrapped around an engaging storyline
I thought Diablo established the Diablo-style hack and slasher???

The review should say it would be appealing only to those fFallout fans who wouldn't mind playing a game that actually hurts the brain instead of stimulating it.
