original Fallout 1 & 2 sprites fot FOT

I just would like to know if there is any mod for FoT that rescued all those good old sprites images from Fallout one & two. i am looking mainly for those below:

fallout 1 & 2 npcs - raiders, humans, mutants, ghouls, beasts (centaur, wanamingo, molerat ... so on. )

its possible to implement those critter with the sprite/critter creator ? would that be hard to learn ? thats all, thanks folks.
 
Both Awaken and Enclave utilize some of the old sprites. Awaken uses them for weapons and armor and such, while Enclave uses NPC's from 1 and 2. They also use the power armor actor models for armor, but it's not very functional without the crouching and kneeling animations.

It's cool that they do this, but Tactics was well built for its environments, I think that level design is more important than recycling old sprites. But that's just my opinion.
 
thanks for the tip, i will download enclave mod (since i already have awaken). I agree that fot on its own board is ok (new pa is really cool) but I was planning to bring the feeling of F1 & F2 to my mod (like in the mod awaken for example), that's why i need the original game sprites. specially about little details such as npcs, there are no kids sprites to be used in fot and i guess the pip boy would not be a fair replacement.
 
Fallout: Tactics has very high quality graphics. There's around 27000 individual bitmap props, which range from walls to chairs to hanging terminals.

The in-game critters and people are thoroughly well-animated.

I suspect you may run into problems porting "moving" characters from FO1/2 into FO:T.

If they're "standing NPCs" you will just need to upscale them by a factor of x1.28 or so. You'd have to use a batch upscaler like Irfanview, and disable the "smooth upscaling" options to preserve bitmap transparent color.

But if you want them to move around... if I am not mistaken, Fallout rendered them in 6 directions, and FO:T rendered them in 8 directions at different angles.

You'd be out of luck there.
 
It looked as if for enclave the developer just used those original six, when the character ran they looked really off.

Exactly. If would be wiser to wait (or ask) for Darin to make new sprites, which will be FoT-styled right from beginning.
