OSX - sfchina.sav corrupt and no savefile - can anyone help?

First time out of the vault
Hi all,

I am completely new to this forum (not to fallout 2, though) and after finishing fallout 2 for the first time and returning to the dock I had to find out that the game crashed when I tried to leave the docks to chinatown, probably due to the too-many-items bug. What‘s worse, I don‘t have a savefile with a „good“ sfchina.sav anymore.
I know this is probably classified as copyrighted material but is there a kind soul who might be able to send me a working version of the sfchina.sav-file so I could go on exploring a little bit more? Maybe even with the car present. Thanks so much, if anyone can help me out.

Or, if not, is there a savefile-editor available with which I could „correct“ the corrupted file?

Why don't people search around anymore? At all?
How about you copy the .map file from the game data to replace the .sav file.

I did, but...

...sorry, I did not find a solution. I read something about the maps but I could not find anything about the sf-map and I don‘t know which map would be the one for sf as there is none with that name in the maps-folder.

Extract it from the master.dat file.
