Patch confusion

Hi everyone, I recently installed Fallout again on a whim, since I haven't played it in years and I wanted to get a feel for the game again due to the expected FO3 by Bethesda (/spit). Now, I have the British version of the game, which shows the version to be 1.2 straight out of the box, but there are lots of patches available on the web and its not quite clear to me which ones I need. Which patch/patches do I need to download and apply? Only official patches please and maybe the children patch too.

By the way, isn't 1.1 the last official Fallout patch?

It's called 1.2 in the last European release, but it should be the same thing as 1.1 minus children or something.
