Patches fix caravan Problem?

Hey, new to the board I have a question, or a problem:

After doing the caravans @ NCR, for the money at Duppo's, I can never do another caravan there. No one in the party dies, as I know this is sometime a problem, so I'm stumped. The only place I can continue to do caravans is in Broken Hills:? I have version 1.02 I believe, I notice there are a few patches on the downloads of this site, and the "official" one. Which would be better, and would they fix this?

BTW, I'm using the Inventory Editor, and Character Editor 1.02 I think, could that be a problem?

Don't download version 1.04, it's bugged. Version 1.03 doesn't fix this problem either.

Duppo tells you to come back after few moths but he won't offer new jobs. It's a bug.
 
Whilst were on the caravan subject.
Often when i finish a caravan from Redding, i go and ask for another but the caravan driver just doesn't say anything. Or mutters somthing like it never used to be like this. After that i can no longer take caravan jobs with this driver anymore.
This kinda sucks when you could do with the cash at the start.

You know what this is? At the start i thought maybe it was because too many people had been killed on the previous caravan and that it was no longer safe on that jurney but then it happened after a successfull caravan trip in which nobody died!
 
I always have problem with the caravans. I'll take a caravan from Broken Hills to NCR, and end up traveling with Duppo's men to Redding!! :o
 
Locutus, so version 1.02 is really the best one? I seem to notice a lot of glitches in my game like that. Why isn't their a better one?
-Where can I find 1.03?

course the fallout team didnt feel like to make a better patch :(
Now its just up to the fans, and i got to say the mod/patch makers are doing mighty fine jobs. Keep up the good word

I haven't tried 1.04 yet (did download it)
What's the bug?
