Does one exist? I stole Barnaky's Avenger Minigun but the only character in my party who has a strength to use it is me.....and I haven't been putting any points towards Big Guns.....Grrrr! How the hell can Jax be tagged for Big Guns and only have a strength of 6???? I looked at Stoma....but 5 Action points ... puleease!!!
Also, is the Bonus Mission after the 2 Beastlord missions? Was thinking I'd get it from Barnaky after Quincy but he sent me right off to the 2nd Beastlord one.
Thanks

There's the "Gain Strenght" perk which ups your strenght by one. There's also the weapons handling perk which ups your strength by three for the purpose of handling weapons only. Check your manual for the requirements.

Thanks. Appreciate that. I'm only Level 8 so gotta wait till Lvl 12 for Gain Strength or Weapons Handling. May look at Bracing (which was available at Lvl 4) on the next Lvl up........but it doesn't look like I'll be using the Avenger on the next mission. Gifted I suppose is another possibility if I choose Mutate at Lvl 9. Took me by surprise that I was even able to steal the Minigun and ammo. Since I raised Rage's Steal up to 100+ stealing has become a very real option.

I wouldn't choose weapon handling because you get enough strengh with (advanced) power armor later. To use the big weapons before getting one you can increase strengh with one or two buffouts (the green drug pills). They last for the whole mission and you don't get addicted to them fast (I never did).

Take Alice out when she is available. She has a strength of 9 and 1 more point in agility then her brother. She has big gunns tagged so she has already a fairly high skill in those. Besides she can double as a grenadier aswell because she has throwing tagged.

The Avenger Minigun is really not all that, anyway. Short range without much pop and high action point cost. Stick with shotguns(neosted, H&K Caws), I say, until you actually get the big guns from missions. Any one of those is better than an Avenger. The Vindicator Minigun, on the other hand...well, that's another story...

Browning M2. That gun is....good (or bad depending on which end of the barrel your on).

I remember when I first did the St. Louis mission. I beat the hell out of the mutants with the M16A1s and was thinking I was pretty baddass.

"This mission aint so hard" I thought and wondered what was everyone was complaining about. Then the mutant fired...2 bursts later (I was so cocky I had it on CTB) and 4 dead members later I did the first of many reloads.

It needs str 9, and has limited ammo but its accurate, its amazingly hard (hard is not quite the word) and has extreme range. It relly is just about the ultimate weapon and from mission 12 to boot.
