Photography Inspired by Fallout?

PHeller

First time out of the vault
First Post!

I've been reading NMA since back in the days when I played Fallout 1 & 2 religiously (thats been what...9-10 years ago?)

Every now and then I check in to see how Fallout 3 is coming, but also because I've always had an interest in how human life would continue in the event of a Nuclear War. This has also made me a fan "Jericho". Even though Jericho is not about Fallouts dirt and depression, it still gives us an idea of what life after the nuke would be like.

I am also a amatuer photographer in need of a direction, a "project" if you will. I've never set about having photography "projects" but I think doing one inspired by Fallout would be cool.

I'm in PA, so the desert is out.

Any ideas? Pointers?

Clothes? Gear? Type of model/models need?

Thanks for the help.

well, hmm, anything mad max 2/3 will do. Ripped leather jackets are popular I hear. 50's tech are also pretty neat.

Try to do a scene from fallout maybe? Could probably become an instant classic if done correctly.

Make a huge paper mache deathclaw, fill it full of strawberry jam and animal guts (just ask your local butcher) and then photograph a guy in a one sleeved leather jacket blowing it apart with a menagerie of guns! And if you don't like my idea, specify next time that you were looking for good ones. haha

here is a short list of some abandoned factories and buildings in PA, I know these are just buildings and such, but it is all I know about....

Carbondale - factory
Mahanoy - school
Allentown - factory x 2
Wilkes-Barre - factory
Ashland on Route 61 - an abondoned town where there is an underground fire burning in the old mines, its been burning since the sixties...just like Silent Hill
Norris Square in Philly - nearly abondoned section of town
Eddystone has an abondoned aircraft factory
Mustin Field on the delaware is another abondoned aircraft? factory
